The structure of DCFA optical cable is to insert 250 µ m optical fibers into a loose tube made of high modulus material, and place special waterproof yarn inside the loose tube to provide critical protection for the optical fibers. The center of the cable core is a non-metallic reinforcement core (FRP), and a loose tube (and filling rope) is twisted around the center reinforcement core to form a compact and circular cable core. Both the loose tube and the reinforced core are equipped with waterproof yarns, and the cable core is longitudinally wrapped with waterproof tape. After being coated with plastic aluminum tape (APL) longitudinally wrapped, a polyethylene sheath is extruded to form the cable.
