The RNC indoor fiber optic cable uses fiber optic ribbon as the optical transmission medium, which is wrapped in a loose tube made of high modulus material and then coated with a layer of aramid reinforcement element. The outermost layer is extruded with a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sheath.
