
MPC multi-purpose cabling optical cable uses multiple Φ 900 µ m flame-retardant tight fitting optical fibers as the optical transmission medium, covered with a layer of aramid as the stress reinforcement unit, and extruded with a layer of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or low smoke halogen-free material (LSZH, low smoke, halogen-free, flame-retardant) sheath at the outermost layer.
