
The flat center tube optoelectronic hybrid cable is made by inserting single-mode or multi-mode optical fibers into a loose tube made of high modulus PBT (polybutylene terephthalate) material, and filling the loose tube with fiber paste. The outer layer of the bundle tube is made of aramid yarn as a tensile element and filled with waterproof yarn. Then, it is assembled together with two multi strand bare copper wires (symmetrically placed) in a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) sheath to form a flat cable.
