Aoxing Optical Communication Equipment Limited Company (hereafter
referred as “Aoxing”), located in the Shantou Hi-tech Zone, is a joint venture
initiated by the foreign investors, Yangtze Optical Fiber and Cable Company
Ltd in Wuhan City and Guangdong & Shantou telecom departments.
Since the date of its establishment in 1992, Aoxing has been developing in the direction of
building itself into a corporation with high technology, quality and
efficiency. In order to provide customers with quality products and
excellent after-sales services, Aoxing has
imported from countries such as Switzerland, U.S.A., Austria, Japan,
Finland and England, the advanced equipment for fiver coloring,
fiber-optical secondary coating, and optical-cable production together
with testing apparatus. At the same time, a quality inspection center
to test products’
optical mechanical and environmental property has been established and
a complete computerized control system is well in place.
At present Aoxing owns
2adcanced lines for fibber coloring and 1 of ribboning
and 4 of secondary coating and 6 of cable sheathing. Each year the
company can produce the secondary coating fiber 1.5 million f.c. kilometers, communication optical cable
150,000 kilometers. Major products include different sorts and series
of optical cables formed with 4-1008 fiber cores, some of which have
acquired the patents. The ribbon cable, one of Aoxing’s fist products, has swiftly
occupied the market by the advantages of density, low cost and
convenient for splicing.
Aoxing has been ISO9001 (2000) certified internationally and
nationally. Aoxing products have been
approved to be used in various transmission networks by the Ministry of
Information Industry, Ministry of Broadcasting, Movie & Television
and General Staff.
Besides owning the biggest market share in
Guangdong, Aoxing has not only supplied times
of 100,000 kilometers of different optical cables to other provinces
like Guangxi, Fujian, Tibet, Hainan, Henan, Hubei, Yunan,
Jiangxi, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Sichuan, and Guizhou
etc., but to Southern Asia as well. Optical cables used in projects
such as the ashore section of China-America international submarine
cable and that of the Asia-Europe submarine cable, and project such as
the Tibet toll trunk (the section for Linzhi-Changdu),
the former of which is renowned for its heaviest investment in the
world, its longest length while passing the most numbers of countries,
its biggest capacity and its most advanced technology and the later
renowned for its severe environment and highest elevation, are supplied
by Aoxing. Aoxing
products have been widely used in telecommunication, CATV network,
computer network, database system and image transferring system. They
are also being used in special information transferring system for
military, railway and power supply.
In the face of new eras’ challenge, Aoxing will keep on
improving the market share at home and abroad, continuously optimized
product structure, strengthen quality management, and maintain
sustainable and stable development, to serve its customer with better
